Jewelery is the first craftsman and the most important step in the creation process! Hands are all in, this is where the magic starts to happen. The Grand Bazaar is famous for its Armenian masters and the transfer of art from father to son. It's fascinating to see how gold turns into jewellery, making this process fascinating.
Stone setting follows goldsmithing, and it is a meticulous process, embellishing the backbone with precious diamonds and colored gems, slowly adding color and glitter to the piece. Micro-pavè requires a deep concentration of surgeon, giving life to the jewelery.
Many of Başak Baykal's designs have the touch of “miniature painting”, which is a distinctive signature. Transitioning between amazing color palettes is more possible with miniature art, the detailed veins of the petal become more vivid with miniature before everything is covered with clear enamel.
All design phases consist of a miracle that comes together by following each other. Since many designs are made up of different parts, the final step is to put them all together and enjoy the beauty all at once.
